It's Panic Saturday! 13 million of us set to rush to the high-street to make last minute Christmas buys

£2 million pounds is set to be spent EVERY MINUTE today as 13 million shoppers rush to shops across the country, with Christmas now just days away.

Experts have dubbed today - the last Saturday before Christmas - "Panic Saturday", and stores are preparing for record numbers of shoppers. A total of £1.2 BILLION is set to be spent in total today - that's an average of around £92 per shopper.

Some of the biggest stores on the High Street have cut prices in a bid to lure in shoppers dashing for products for friends and family.
