Eastender's star Jacqueline Jossa has sparked rumours that her character killed Lucy Beale on the hit show after she said she's filming her last scenes on the show.

The pregnant actress tweeted: "Can't believe I will be filming my last scenes for Enders soon!!" adding: "So crazy". She continued: "Nearly five years of my life, amazing".

Fans were unsure whether Jossa was simply referring to maternity leave, or whether she is to make a permanent exit from the BBC One soap. There was speculation that it all ties in with a revelation that Lauren killed 'pal' Lucy Beale, as the show films its scenes months in advance.

One follower asked "You will be back or no more Lauren Branning?", whilst another asked: "are you coming back or leaving for good?"
