Season's Screenings! The nation's favourite Christmas movie of all time revealed...

The Nation's Favourite Christmas movie has been revealed as It's a Wonderful Life.

The film took the top spot in the Odeon Cinema poll of 2,000 people, with Home Alone second and The Snowman third in the results rankings.

Also making the top 10 were Miracle on 34th Street, The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Polar Express.

It's A Wonderful Life won with 16% of the vote, Home Alone received 11% whilst The Snowman was chosen by 1 in 10 (10%) of respondents.

Andy Edge, the commercial director of Odeon in UK & Ireland, said: "There's no better way to bring the family together over Christmas than a good film, and this list has new films alongside timeless classics, showing the enduring appeal of the festive Christmas experience".
